Based at Bicton College, we are looking for an Engagement and Progression Officer to help our students have a fantastic experience on campus. These roles will provide a range of support and undertake positive interventions to support learners on campus. They will help students to overcome barriers to engage with their educational studies and progress onto their next steps. The post‐holder will work with students and staff to develop, manage and supervise a programme of enrichment and personal development activities as well as work in our student social space to engage with our learners.
Applicants should have experience of working with young adults. The post holder will support learners with a range of pastoral, welfare and safeguarding related issues. The candidate should have a sound understanding of the importance of safeguarding and be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Eden Project Learning, supporting the curriculum team to deliver innovative education in an inspiring location, to a growing group of university level students. We’re looking for somebody flexible, well-organised, and proactive, to provide administrative support and liaise with both Cornwall College and Eden Project staff teams to ensure the smooth running of the site and an outstanding experience for students, prospective students, and visitors. You will provide a warm welcome at reception, give initial advice and guidance to applicants, and work with finance and student information systems to support the logistics of running a busy curriculum area.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload whilst completing routine tasks accurately and on time. With an understanding of confidentiality and previous experience in a customer / learner focussed environment, you will work with colleagues in other areas of College business to provide wraparound care for students, support the delivery of commercial consultancy, and ensure the success of externally funded projects. You should enjoy the logistical challenges of organising events, such as open days, conferences, careers and fresher’s fairs, and will support course leaders to organise residential and international field courses.

Based at our either our Bicton or Stoke Climsland Campus , We are seeking a Campus Service Manager, who will effectively plan, manage and control the day to day operational activity of the facilities management services at Bicton, Stoke Climsland, Sisna Park and St Mellion campuses to ensure that the Cornwall College Group provides an attractive and safe space for our learners and staff, the successful candidate will have a dynamic and driven approach to promoting and supporting HS&E across their campuses and can demonstrate a proven track record in facilities management. A position has become available for an Animal Care and Welfare Assistant at Duchy College, Stoke Climsland.
The successful applicant will be working alongside animal centre team members to promote health and husbandry of a variety of animal species. They will also gain an Animal Care qualification.
Applicants must have GCSE at grade 3 or functional skill Level 1 in both English and Maths and have some experience with a range of animals.
This position is on rolling rota to include weekends and holidays (one weekend in three approximately) so candidates must be able to meet the requirements of this rota. A full, clean driving licence and own transport is preferred.

Based at our stunning Bicton College campus, we are looking for an experienced individual to work as a cleaner.
The ideal candidate will be flexible in their approach and will be expected to carry out a full range of cleaning duties. The ability to use your own initiative with attention to detail is an advantage, working as part of part of an established team as well as having the ability to work individually at times.
In addition, the operation of floor cleaning equipment and domestic type laundry equipment is a key requirement of this role.

Based at our stunning Bicton College campus in East Devon, we are looking for an experienced individual to join our Site Services team as Cleaning Supervisor.
The hours of work within this role are as follows: from 06:00-14:00 Monday – Thursday and 06:00 – 13:30 Friday. You will be required to manage the day to day activities of a busy cleaning department and maintain excellent COSHH and Risk Assessment practices throughout. A good understanding of I.T equipment is essential in order to report / sign off on cleaning tasks using the college reporting facility. Ability to use own initiative with attention to detail an advantage, must also be able to fit in as part of an established team.
